Plot Summary:Emma, a young carer, finds she is falling behind at school and unable to keep up with the daily demands of caring for her ill mother and young brother. However, help is at hand when her form teacher alerts an Educational Welfare Officer, who uses ContactPoint to make contact with her former social worker. The practitioners then work together to put a care plan in place to support the family.
