在电脑年代刚来临时，骗子最容易利用一般人对这种新科技的无知而进行骗财计划，本片正是以此为题材的英国式斗智喜剧。乌斯蒂诺夫饰演一名高明的骗子，号称自己是电脑专家，在一间美国大公司谋得高职，然后将公司的百万基金利用电脑偷偷转移到自己的户口中。当他的百万窃案被揭穿时，他又能机智地走前一步化解危机。全片剧情布局巧妙，笑料讽刺性强，一群演员包括配角玛吉．史密斯、卡尔．莫尔登等均演出精彩，导演埃瑞克．提尔也拍出了游戏人间的愉悦气氛。
