Interspersed throughout the piece are frenetic flashbacks depicting Johnny joyriding in high-performance cars (the type of crime that Johnny would ordinarily see himself associated with. The piece ends ironically with the realisation that the Orion has been stolen 'to order' rather than for kicks.
