剧情介绍
钢琴教师塞西莉亚和她的林业工作者丈夫迭戈在巴塔哥尼亚的小镇上已经生活了一年。得知他们的领养请求获得批准，塞西莉亚喜出望外，尽管九岁的乔尔比她想领养的孩子年龄略大。乔尔是个圆脸、头发凌乱、寡言少语并且态度挑衅的孩子，曾和如今锒铛入狱的叔叔住在一起。正是由于乔尔的过去，在为他建立一个新的家庭时，塞西莉亚和丈夫面临着许多挑战和问题。不但为乔尔办理当地学校的入学手续是个缓慢而痛苦的过程，他入校后也难以适应新的环境，家长间甚至不时传出乔尔会对同学们产生不良影响的言论。于是，这个家庭不得不做出选择，是接受乔尔和他充满暴力的过往，还是接受其他父母对这个小小“外来者”的偏见？
