蔡康永在北大演讲时提及的影片。著名儿童幻想小说《爱丽丝梦游奇境记》背后的故事，牛津大学著名数学家道格森（笔名刘易斯·卡洛尔）与爱丽丝的原型，少女爱丽丝的往来。关于这段故事历史上不乏揣测，然后真相究竟如何，又有谁能知道。当影片中暮年爱丽丝乘船去代替过世的大叔领奖时，叫人感慨万分。本片色调偏黑暗晦涩，有点诡异。

Plot Summary:Exploring the somewhat darker and more mysterious side of the Lewis Carroll's classic book, the movie follows Alice Liddell (the book's inspiration) as an old woman who is haunted by the characters she was once so amused by. As she thinks back on it, she starts to see her relationship with the shy author/professor in a new way and realizes the vast change between the young Alice and the old.
