Miranda（米兰达·哈特 Miranda Hart 饰）是一个身高一米八三、身形魁梧、胃口极佳、常常被人误叫做“sir”的名副其实的女汉子。她开了一家半吊子的玩笑商店，请了自己最好的朋友Stevie（萨拉·哈德兰 Sarah Hadland 饰）做店老板。Miranda妈妈最大的愿望就是把她嫁出去。　　在第三季的结尾，Mike和Gary（汤姆·艾利斯 Tom Ellis 饰）同时向Miranda求婚。而现在，她必须做出选择了。她究竟会选择哪一个，是各方面条件都和她匹配的Mike，还是她暗恋多年的男神Gary？还是说，她会拒绝所有求婚，重新回到单身生活？

Plot Summary:With two men proposing to her Miranda chooses Gary, who comes to stay the night - causing a temporary rift with Stevie - but Miranda is perturbed that he has never actually said that he loves her. The couple want a quiet wedding but Penny has other ideas and even a simple thing like buying a ring is catastrophic where Miranda is involved. Feeling under pressure Gary considers postponing the wedding and asking him to say that he loves her turns out to be the worst thing Miranda could do.
