Native Taiwanese, from the ethnic group Atayal, Protest against the claims of the central government - made up of Chinese immigrants from the ethnic group Han, who are now most of the population - build a bridge through their old village. The documentary cue interweaves with the fiction story of two Atalayal brothers: Taqun is the minority delegate in the central government, Yukan works for a construction company which is now demolishing some scruffy buildings.
