A Bunny’s Tale is based on the true story of Gloria Steinem’s personal experience as a Playboy Bunny. Steinem (Kirstie Alley) is writing an article for Show magazine and decides to go undercover as a Playboy Bunny in the New York Playboy Club in 1963. The film recounts her undercover assignment and her article, which exposed how women were treated in the Playboy Club.
