Northern lawyer John Reynolds travels to New Orleans to try and clean up the local crime syndicate based around a lottery. Although he meets Julie Mirbeau and they are attracted to each other, the fact that her father heads the lottery means they end up on opposite sides. When her father is killed, Julie becomes more and more involved in the shady activities and in blocking Rey...$2.5星，前面百分之九十的剧情就和韦恩三十年代拍的B级西部片差不多（好人韦恩抓隐藏的大坏蛋），最后百分之十忽然变成灾难片了，看的人完全摸不着头脑，明明还在法庭辩论忽然间就发大洪水了。。。不过服装造型非常美好，韦恩的套装和礼服都很帅气尤其是全白套装格外俊俏，女主角的妆容发型也很精致，就是有点老看上去像韦恩的大姐。。。
