波士顿的三一教堂（Trinity Church。Boston）有一个专有名词“Richardsonian Romanesque"也即是某些建筑历史书中提到的“美国罗马复兴主义建筑”（American Renaissance）但是教科书中没有提及“300磅的建筑师”(H.H Richardson）是这项革新的始作俑者，究其原因无非就是那时候美帝钱多的想要跟正在衰落的老牌帝国较量。Seagram Building（NY）案例中真是笑死我了评论家曰“Let's have plaza every building.
