When their lesbian sister announces that she's going to have a sex change operation, her southern family has to make some attitude adjustments.
Plot Summary:Charlotte is a 40-year-old lesbian living in Los Angeles whom brings her lover Meg, a 30-something divorcée with two young kids, for a family reunion in Charlotte's hometown in North Carolina the year following the death of Charlotte's parents. Charlotte's sister Georgia is a ultra-butch lesbian whom has recently announced her decision to have a sex change operation to become a man which Charlotte strongly disapproves. Charlotte's gay brother Jackson and sister Virginia support Georgia's decision.
