Plot Summary:Anne Marie Fuchs in her mid-fifties lives modestly and withdrawn in Düsseldorf. Her only regular contact is the manager of the restaurant-cafe \"Midsummer\", Simone Papst, who always has a good coffee ready for Anne and whom she can get in touch with. When Simone's brother Sebastian's best friend is found murdered and Sebastian disappears without a trace, Anne offers to help. It quickly becomes clear that the inconspicuous lady, who is always short of cash, seems to be an absolute investigative professional with a razor-sharp mind. No wonder, because Anne Marie Fuchs is a former GDR spy, a past that she shares with Olaf Ruhleben. He was Anne's management officer and is now trying, a good 20 years later, to recruit her as a specialist for his security company. But the \"Vixen\" refuses, even though she only lives on Hartz IV, because she still has an invoice from her active time that she needs her energy to settle. With the support of Simone's husband Youssef El Kilali, Anne goes in search of Sebastian and, with her sometimes radical methods, crosses a number of legal limits. In the course of her investigation, she uncovered a bigger cause that made her fear that Sebastian's life was in grave danger.
