Plot Summary:The story of Calhoun (Cal) and Renfield (Wren), two Texas residents who find themselves in the middle of an unexplained zombie crisis. With Cal's home under attack by a ravaging horde of "dead-eyed suburbanites," the two must escape despite Cal's misgivings and insistence that Max Brooks', author of the Zombie Survival Guide, says that the home is the safest place. But as usual in these sorts of stories, an easy escape is not going to be...easy. And as you might expect, not all goes as planned.
