An over-zealous and under-appreciated sound mixer on a low budget sci-fi western movie titled "Dead Cowboys", based on "Hamlet", falls in love with an untalented violinist. To win her favor, he promises to get her scoring gigs in the movies. His resulting strong arm techniques goes overboard.
