Venus Ascending is a contemporary afroqueer fable telling the story of four black women connected by their decolonial artistic practices: lyrical singing, scupture and performance. The story teller, Akudzwe Elsie Chiwa weaves together ancestral ties and builds a space where queer Black love, trans joy and uprising are possible.
