Page 1 A child is playing video game. Because his pushy parents, he hesitates in melting the wizard and is locked for millions of years in the game.
Page 2 The child plays baseball with his best friend. They also talk about their fantasy about girls. They have great chemistry and rapport with each other when they sing a complicated song together. When they get home, they talk with each other on walkie-talkie about the fact that their fantasy girl is available.
Page 4 The fun play park. When Josh sees his fantasy girl is waiting in line for a dangerous roller coaster, he tells his parents that he wants to go on there alone. But then he is embarrassed by his parents and the girl’s big boyfriend who drives. To make matters worse, he can’t even get on the roller coaster because he is not big enough.
Page 8 Josh sees a magical box in the park. It appears to be broken until Josh bangs on it repeatedly. After Josh’s wish of becoming big is granted by the machine, he finds out that it is not even connected to the socket. Wind blows and a night with rain storm.
Page 11 The next morning, Josh becomes big. He freaks out at first, but then he is elated that his wish has been granted. Before his mother finds out the truth, Josh gets out of the door and rides a bike back to the fun park. But the magical box is already gone. (OPPORTUNITY: GETTING A NEW AVATAR)
Page 15 When he comes back, Josh’s mother thinks that he is an intruder and Josh has no choice but to run away from home.
Page 16 Josh goes to school to find his best friend Billy, who is having a hard time at basketball game because he is small. Billy is frightened by the big Josh until he starts to sing their complicated song.
Page 18 Billy steals clothes for Josh from Josh’s house, where police are all over the place looking for the missing Josh. Billy also gives him the money and idea to go to New York City.
Page 19 The beautiful Times Square. Billy and Josh walk on the street full of crazy people and hookers. They find a hotel and Billy has to go back home. Josh feels very unsafe by himself. Gunshot in the street and loud fighting next door. Josh is scared and he misses his mom.
Page 24 The next morning, Josh and Billy start to find the magical box that granted his wish. They try to find in all kinds of stores with no avail. Finally they get to the consumer affairs and they are told that it needs six weeks to locate the magical box. Then Billy starts to look for a job for Josh in the newspaper. And they find a toy company looking for computer operator.
Page 26 Billy and Josh go to interview for the job. People think Billy is Josh’s son, but in fact, Billy is the mature one. The HR manager is suspicious about Josh until he is under pressure from a lady above him. So he offers Josh a job. (CHANGE OF PLAN: LOOKING FOR A JOB)
Page 29 Orientation for Josh on his first day. He can work on the computer better than the adults that they feel pressure.
Page 31 As the big boss is arguing with his aids about what kind of toy to produce, they run into Josh and the boss is impressed with how Josh would run to complete his job. At the same time, Josh is also attracted by the boobs.
Page 32 Josh calls his mother, reassuring her that his son is alright. His mother is moved to tears when Josh sings the song that she used to sing for him as a little boy.
Page 34 Josh is already used to the terrible apartment that he is in. He is also very excited at the salary that he’s got and had a wonderful time with his friend.
Page 36 Josh goes to the toy store on the fifth avenue. He is in heaven until he sees the big boss, who is doing research in the toy store as well. All Josh was complaining about the toys, yet it is very valuable to the boss. Then they really connect by playing the big piano on the floor of the toy store.
Page 40 The two top aids are very unhappy about the boss promoting Josh to the vice president of product development. Billy freaks out when he finds out that Josh gets a job playing toys.
Page 42 The two aids are investigating where the new VP comes from. Little do they notice that Josh’s picture is on the milk box as a missing kid. During the meeting, Josh comes up with the idea of transformers and everybody is taken away with his idea. The two aides are freaked out.
Page 46 Josh and Billy go to rent a big apartment. They turn it into a playground and they go to watch the baseball game. The montage is voiced over by Josh’s letter to his parents.
Page 48 Company party. Josh wears a distinct tux and everybody laughs at him except the big boss as he was bored with his own tux. Susan is bored with the grown up talk and is attracted to the naïve Josh.
Page 53 Susan invites Josh out of the party and have a ride. Susan tries to confess her affections for Josh but he is too excited with the limo to listen to what Susan has to say. Then Josh invites Susan to his apartment. And she freaks out by all the toys in the apartment. Then they play trampoline together and have a good time. When it comes to the time for bed, Josh gives Susan a campus that glows in the dark.
Page 60 Susan rides with his boyfriend. She begins to have fun playing with the radio.
Page 61 Susan’s boyfriend invites Josh to play bounds ball with him. In the process, they get into a fight when Josh thinks that the boyfriend is cheating. The passersby are all watching two grownups fighting over a ball.
Page 63 Susan takes care of Josh and tells him the reason he is beaten is because the boyfriend is scared of him. And Josh thinks that Susan is nice and they bond.
Page 65 Susan breaks up with his boyfriend and she thinks that Josh is a grownup. She claims that she no longer wishes to sleep with her superiors to get advance in her career.
Page 66 Josh and Billy celebrate his birthday. But afterwards he abandons Billy so that he can meet Susan. They go to the fun park again to a roller coaster ride.
Page 70 Josh and Susan dance. But we find out that the magical box is in the park and they just don’t know it. Susan confesses his love to Josh again. Just when Josh wants to confess to Susan the truth that he is a kid, he kisses Susan instead. Then he touches Susan’s breasts.
Page 74 Josh becomes the new man to work and he starts drink coffee. Josh goes to Susan to dinner with friends, during which he even tutors a kid who needs help with math, which wins approval from Susan’s friend.
Page 75 When Billy receives the letter from Consumer Services, he constantly calls Josh but Josh is too busy with the new toy campaign to return Billy’s call.
Page 77 Susan likes Josh more and more as Josh comes up with the idea of electronic comic book. But when Susan needs commitment from Josh, he doesn’t know how to respond.
Page 80 When Billy comes to find Josh personally, Josh is too busy to pay attention to him, which makes Billy very angry. At home, Josh digs up his floppy disk for the old computer game and plays with sweet memory. So he goes to see the kids playing with the tree leaves, children taking photographs, his old fantasy girlfriend and throws baseball to other kids.
Page 84 Josh confesses to Susan that he’s actually a kid and he wants to go home. Susan obviously doesn’t believe him and thought everything Josh says is a metaphor that he is not ready to make a commitment.
Page 86 Billy talks to Josh’s mother through Josh’s walkie-talkie. Billy comforts Josh’s mother.
Page 88 Billy comes to the office to find Josh again telling him where the magical box is before the big meeting. During the meeting, when they talk about the electronic comic book, they talk about how great that a kid can make his own choice, which really speaks to Josh. And at the same time, Susan realizes that Josh is telling the truth and follows Josh.
Page 91 Josh takes a cab to where the magic box is. Susan is too late but he finds Billy outside the building. Susan makes Billy to tell him where Josh went.
Page 92 Josh takes a taxi to the fun park and sees the magical box. He makes it work like last time and makes his wishes. Then Susan follows but it was too late: Josh’s wish has been granted.
Page 97 Susan drives Josh home and Josh changes back as Susan is looking upon. Life changes back to where it was.
