When being a pupil of grade four, I read the book for the first time. Although I only took it as a story and perhaps coudn't understand thoroughly what the novel tells, I was fasinated by Mr. Rochester and his love for Jane. I also esteemed Jane's brightness,erudition, and of course her strong character. I hope I will be a person like Jane. Well, I admire the actor who played the role of Mr. Rochester. To tell the truth, I have watched all the versions of Jane Eyre from 1940s to 2010s, including different fimes and tv series. Not until I watched the version of 1983 have I found joyfully the actor plays the exact Mr. Rochester of novels. The tone of speaking, the expression on his face and the grace of behavior attract me deeply. The actor displayed the changeable characteristics and inherent innocence precisely as the novel suggests. This version is the best to do the Charlotte, and the most successful TV series for Jane Eyre.
