i got a little confused after finished it. it made me think a lot.
its theme is about loss and relationship. those guys fought for their own career and life after they graduated from college. some of them are some kind of successful, like julie. some of them still feel confused about their future.
it is a tough time for many people when they are at the age between 20 to 30. it is a time full of choices. some people seems to lost their passion unknowingly. some people seems to turn into another whole new person which himself did not like before. some people seems to be unable to follow their dreams firmly. in a word, it is a time when people are easy to get loss and failure. people have to fight for it.
andrew is a typical person. he becomes the person he used to look down upon. he pay too much attention on the power. he can't affort to fail.he was totally driven by the feeling of being on top.he got lost in it.
on the other hand,his fiance, julie,sexy and beautiful woman, is quite clear about herself and her own career. she maybe the strongest person in the film. she almost get lost when there is some problem exists between andrew and her,but she did finally overcome it.
just like the other normal person, tony, felix and ben all get into confused when they have to face the real problems. they choose to ignore it or even run away from it at first. but they feel uncomfortable in heart. after a long time struggling, they finally find the most suitable way to deal with it. thoug no one knows whether it is the right choice or not ,at least they make it. i think it is some kind of success.and it must lead to the real success finally.
the real life is just like the film. we have to face many special times. many a time full of failure, maybe a time full of choices, maybe a time full of difficulties. anyway, these kind of special times deserve to be treasure.
don't even think of ignoring nor running way from it. just face it directly and try to deal with it. whether you are successful or not finally, at least you tried. and that would be a successful new star for your whole life.
